ChuChu Onsen chooses the “Dragonfly,” a creature that has existed for over 300 million years, as a symbol of freedom, happiness, and energy rejuvenation to narrate its story. Alongside the incorporation of diverse materials such as glass, stone, wood, and iron, which create a balance as well as contradictions, the design aims to establish a novel artistic concept, expanding the imagination and guiding the infinite spirit, which is also the origin of Zen.

The overall layout, from the entrance, waiting hall, bathing area, to therapy rooms, is constructed to facilitate a sequential and quiet mental transformation process: from the general to the specific, from the obscure to the implied, from curiosity to gentleness, from haziness to brightness… With the desire to create a space that transcends the bathing experience.
